Strawberry has deployed Amadeus Agency360 Enterprise Edition across more than 250 hotels in the Nordic region, Lithuania and the Faroe Islands, moving one of Northern Europe's largest hotel portfolios onto a single enterprise-grade agency distribution platform.
The rollout covers Strawberry's full operating footprint, spanning its home Nordic markets of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland alongside its Baltic and North Atlantic properties. For a group of this scale, a single enterprise deployment replaces fragmented, property-by-property distribution setups that many multi-site European operators still run.
What does the deployment change?
Agency360 sits on the distribution side of the hotel technology stack, managing how properties work with travel agencies and intermediaries. By adopting the Enterprise Edition across the whole estate rather than at selected sites, Strawberry standardizes that function at group level.
For operators and investors, the significance lies in the model. Enterprise-wide distribution contracts of this type typically give chains centralized control over agency relationships, rate distribution and commission workflows, replacing locally negotiated arrangements. A 250-plus-property deployment makes that control uniform from Tromsø to Vilnius.
The move also signals continued consolidation of hotel technology around a small number of large platform vendors. Amadeus Hospitality has positioned itself as one of the dominant suppliers of distribution and reservation infrastructure to major European chains, and a full-estate commitment from Strawberry extends that position in the Nordics.
Why does scale matter here?
Strawberry operates one of the region's biggest hotel networks, and its technology decisions tend to set a reference point for Nordic peers. A group-wide deployment across more than 250 hotels means integration, training and migration are complete across the estate rather than phased at a pilot subset.
Mid-size European operators watching this space will read the deal as evidence that enterprise distribution platforms are now the default for large portfolios, not a premium option. The alternative — maintaining separate agency-channel tools market by market — creates duplicated cost and inconsistent rate governance across borders.
The geographic reach of the deployment is itself notable. Extending the platform to properties in Lithuania and the Faroe Islands, not just the core Scandinavian markets, shows Strawberry treating distribution as a single unified estate regardless of market size.
What happens next?
Strawberry will run its agency distribution through the Amadeus platform across the full portfolio, and the deployment gives Amadeus a strengthened enterprise foothold in the Nordic and Baltic hotel sector. Competing distribution vendors will now pitch against an incumbent holding a group-wide contract at one of the region's largest chains.
