Accor and H World Group Expand Direct Booking and Loyalty Partnership
Accor and H World Group have widened their long-term partnership to cover direct booking channels and loyalty cooperation, linking two of the world's largest hotel groups' distribution systems.

Accor and H World Group have expanded their long-term partnership across direct booking and loyalty platforms, extending cooperation between Europe's largest hotel group and one of Asia's biggest hotel operators into the heart of their distribution and guest-reward systems.
The expanded agreement, reported by Hospitality Net, covers two of the most commercially sensitive areas in hotel operations: how guests book rooms directly and how loyalty points are earned and redeemed across brands. For Accor, the deal deepens its access to Asian demand. For H World, it channels exposure to European and international travellers.
What does the expanded partnership cover?
The collaboration now spans:
- Direct booking channels, connecting the two groups' reservation platforms
- Loyalty programme cooperation, widening recognition and redemption options for members on both sides
- Long-term structural alignment rather than a one-off commercial tie-up
Both companies have framed the arrangement as a long-term partnership, signalling multi-year commitments rather than a pilot scheme.
Why does this matter for European operators?
Accor competes with Marriott, Hilton and IHG on distribution reach and loyalty scale. Loyalty programmes increasingly drive direct bookings, cutting commission costs paid to online travel agencies. A link with H World's membership base gives Accor's ALL loyalty scheme a stronger footprint in the Chinese travel market, the largest outbound travel source market in the world.
For H World, which operates thousands of hotels under brands including HanTing and Ji Hotel alongside its upper-scale and international lines, the partnership supports its international growth ambitions and its presence in European markets where Accor is strongest.
Smaller European chains and independents face a knock-on effect: deeper integration between two large loyalty ecosystems raises the bar for competing on direct-booking incentives and member recognition.
What comes next?
The two groups will roll out the expanded booking and loyalty integrations progressively across their estates. Operators and investors should watch for integration milestones, joint loyalty benefits announcements and any further filings or statements detailing programme mechanics and rollout timelines.
